When the filter swells up and blocks water and other contaminants from reaching the sensor, it’s done its job, and it’s time for a replacement. Note: Oil drawn into the filter will block it almost instantly – replace for best performance.

FILTER REPLACEMENT: The hydrophobic filter is built into the replaceable tip and should be replaced periodically to maximize sensor life and performance. Unscrew the tip to remove.
